The presence of a modern, huge external HDD, theoretically, allows you to record both SD and HD broadcasts, but the capabilities are limited to one transponder and only three channels. However, before connecting the HDD to eSATA or USB for recording, you need to carry out some simple manipulations. External HDDs are usually supplied formatted with the NTFS file system. Using Windows, using the command line [format volume \/fs:FAT32], you can format a disk with a capacity of no more than 32GB. To make the disk capacity readable by the tuner, you must use external programs, for example \u201cEASEUS Partition Master 9.0.0 Home Edition\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flaws. The tuner formats the HDD only into the EXT3 file system — Windows does not recognize a disk with such a file system. The universal FAT32 file system limits the use of a large, expensive external HDD between the tuner and the PC and allows use in conjunction with a media player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flaws. The tuner plays the radio station with a static picture with a spot equalizer without a screenserver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
