A citizen of the country, according to the constitution, has enormous opportunities. In reality, this is not the case at all. The status of a citizen of Ukraine ends with moving to another city in the country. The absence of registration (registration) in a “non-native” city deprives a citizen of all constitutional rights. Belarus. Transit country. When traveling by land, you will notice good roads with markings and cleared roadside rest areas. At a gas station you can pay for fuel in three currencies, the driver’s choice, euro-dollar-bunnies. Having paid five dollars right at the border (the official fee for transit through the territory of Belarus), you enjoy the straight-line movement of road transport. Crossing the country, along the entire route, the only traffic control authorities noticed were cameras and warning signs that all violations are controlled by a soulless creature who never makes concessions to anyone. The local motorist behaves completely inexplicably. If a Ukrainian driver moves at a speed 15-20 km/h higher than the maximum permissible, and this is logical, you drive faster and do not exceed the error of the speed control device, then the Belarusian does not reach the same speed. It’s a pleasure to drive with the “cautious” Belarusian “Schumachers” – they are all passive and on the right, and you just drive faster than them, and on the left.
Lithuania.
A country without an accurate history. A very beautiful and clean European country. People live, work and think by American-European standards.
Lithuanian history is quite deep and extensive, but judging by the stories of the guides, who never answered the exact question: (“In what year?”; “How many people participated?”, etc.), the impression was that for tourists’ history was written overnight. Also, no one could answer the question why there is such a dense development of temples, churches of different religions, not only in one place, but throughout the entire territory of Vilnius. The favorable location of Lithuania makes it an intermediate “economic center” for the CIS countries between America and prosperous European countries. It’s no secret that to buy a used European car cheaper you need to look north. Along the magnificent roads of Belarus, trailers with used cars travel southeast to developing countries.
Israel.
Historical and tourist cultural center of the world. With the abolition of visas, a flood of tourists poured into the country. In addition to the attractions, Israel is famous for its excellent, inexpensive medicine. In order to settle in the country and obtain citizenship, immigrants from the CIS must speak Hebrew. In general, a newly minted resident of Israel, as a rule, knows three languages, including English and Russian. Tel Aviv has a huge number of park and sports recreation areas. The country pays special attention to health; every resident of the country pays an insurance premium from their salary, regardless of their desire. Not very beautiful, but a set of solar panels and a metal tank look interesting on the roofs of houses. In Tel Aviv, taxi cars are strictly white and strictly Mercedes-Benz (and only new C-class models).
Girls also serve military service with boys. The sight is not very pleasant when a small, frail girl stands in uniform at the ready, reaching to the ground with a rifle hanging down.
Moscow. Capital of the world. Majestic Moscow.
It is very difficult to get used to the capital’s food products. As it turned out, the tasteless boiled sausage does not include additives or paper, only natural meat. Milk has a fat content strictly indicated on the package. After asking why this was so, it turned out that at the factory, if the fat content of the milk is less than the permissible level, the conveyor stops. Children’s leisure. The Kremlin Christmas tree is the ultimate dream of any schoolchild. Parents are only allowed up to the doors of the Palace of Culture. Next, each child is escorted by the hand from the door to a seat in the hall, with unforgettable gifts being presented. The New Year’s concert is simply a fairy tale, a huge stage and a magnificent acting performance. After returning home, nostalgia for the capital of the world disappears only after two weeks.
Peter. Historical and tourist cultural center.
In the winter season, when the Neva is covered with a crust of ice, colorful drakes come out onto the ice, and starting from 23-00, local residents come out to the canal bridge and diligently feed the flocks of ducks on the ice. Visitors, on the contrary, are trying not to feed, but to catch ducks. A tourist, having visited a huge number of museums and listened to dozens of hours of lectures, having caught a drake, runs to the hotel with the wild screams of one of the characters about whom the guide was talking.
