Microsoft Education has introduced new AI tools for schools, including an expanded Copilot for Microsoft 365, a collaboration app called Loop, and an AI-powered Reading Coach. These tools aim to improve learning experiences for students.
Starting January 1, 2024, more people, including students and teachers using free Microsoft services, can use Copilot. Institutions like The University of Hong Kong and The University of Manchester are already using it. Microsoft also made it easier for different schools to get Copilot.

Loop, an AI-powered app, will be part of Microsoft 365 plans from March 2024. It’s designed to help students and teachers work together on projects in a new way.
